Get Genatis Board up and running in under 5 minutes

Download & Extract

Download: Get the Genatis Board-Portable.zip file (136.55 MB)

Extract: Right-click the ZIP file → "Extract All" → Choose a location

Run: Double-click Genatis Board.exe

💡 Tip: No installation required! You can run Genatis Board from anywhere - USB drive, desktop, or any folder.

First Launch

When you first open Genatis Board, you'll see the main dashboard with:

  • Welcome message and empty timetable state
  • Section selector (Super 1, Super 2, Super 3, Whiz 1, Whiz 2, Whiz 3)
  • Options to create your first timetable

⚠️ Windows Security: If Windows shows "Windows protected your PC", click "More info" → "Run anyway". This is normal for new apps.

Create Your Timetable

You have three options:

Option A: OCR Scanning (Recommended)

  1. Click "Create Timetable"
  2. Select "OCR Scanning" tab
  3. Drag & drop your timetable image (JPG/PNG)
  4. Wait for AI to extract your schedule
  5. Review and save

Option B: Manual Entry

  1. Click "Create Timetable"
  2. Select "Manual Entry" tab
  3. Add classes one by one with times and subjects
  4. Use the time pickers for precise scheduling
  5. Save your timetable

Option C: Demo Data (For Testing)

  1. Click "Load Demo"
  2. Instant sample timetable with realistic data
  3. Perfect for exploring features

Explore Key Features

🖥️ Desktop Widget

Click the eye icon to open the always-on-top widget for quick class reference.

⚙️ Settings

Click the gear icon to configure notifications, sounds, and reminder times.

🔄 Section Switching

Use the dropdown to switch between different class sections.

Watch as current and next class cards update automatically throughout the day.

Daily Usage Tips

  • ✓ Morning: Open Genatis Board to see your day's schedule at a glance
  • ✓ During Classes: Use the widget to quickly check what's next
  • ✓ Notifications: Get reminded before each class starts
  • ✓ Updates: Edit your timetable anytime by clicking "Edit Timetable"

🚨 Common Issues & Solutions

App won't start / Windows blocks it

Click "More info" → "Run anyway" in Windows SmartScreen. This is normal for unsigned apps.

OCR not working

Ensure you have internet connection for the first OCR scan. After that, it works offline.

Widget not showing

Check if it's hidden behind other windows. Try clicking the eye icon again to toggle.

Data not saving

Make sure Genatis Board has write permissions in its folder. Try running as administrator if needed.
