Who I am
I'm Daksh — a high school student, self-taught developer, and the person behind Genatis. I write code, design interfaces, and build products that solve real problems in education.
I started coding in middle school — first with HTML pages, then Python scripts, then full-stack apps. But the project that changed everything was the one I built for my own school.

Why I built Genatis
Every morning, I watched my teachers spend the first 10 minutes of class flipping through attendance registers, checking timetable printouts, and chasing students for homework diaries. It was chaos.
Teachers were drowning in paperwork instead of teaching. Principals had no real-time data. Parents had no visibility. And students lost precious learning time every day.
I thought: "What if there was one app — fast, clean, reliable — that replaced all of this?"

The first version
Built a basic timetable manager as a desktop app. Teachers loved the concept but wanted more.

Attendance & analytics
Added one-tap attendance, visual analytics, parent notifications, and a desktop widget.

Parent portal & mobile app
Built a full parent portal with real-time chat, notices, homework submissions, and a mobile app.

Genatis is born
Rebranded, redesigned, and launched as a platform for schools across India.

My school experience
Being a student while building a school management platform gives me a unique advantage: I live in the problem. I sit in the classroom. I see what works and what doesn't. I hear the complaints.
My teachers became my first beta testers. My classmates became my focus group. My principal became my first critic. Every feature in Genatis was born from a real pain point I witnessed firsthand.
That's why Genatis doesn't feel like "enterprise software." It feels like something a teacher would actually want to use.
